Most people want to make sure they have enough cash to retire, and you’d think celebrities would have saved enough to take that step earlier than most. But some celebrities just aren’t ready – Luxe Models consider who’s refusing to stop working.

Betty White

Betty White Luxe ModelsBetty White has been recognised by Guinness World Records for having the longest-running TV career of any woman in history. The former Golden Girl is older than sliced bread at 93 – yes, we are serious! “Why should I retire from something I love so much? Nothing that I could possibly find to do would be as much fun as what I do for a living” she told the Huffington Post. You tell them, girl!

Warren Buffett

Buffett is a man with billions of dollars in the bank, yet at 85 he refuses to give up work. “If I quit today — I see these people. They spend a whole week planning their haircut. That is not my idea of living. I’m tap dancing to work every day… It doesn’t get better than that,” he famously said. Clearly, he’s not in it for the money.

Judi Dench

At nearly 81, Dame Judi Dench has left a legacy in the Bond films as the character “M”, even briefly featuring in the recent film, Spectre. She first appeared in Golden Eye in 1995. Dench cried publicly recently of her fear that she may never act again – she really doesn’t want to retire!

Paul McCartney Luxe ModelsPaul McCartney

He may be 73, but he still knows how to make a great record. McCartney has been making music for decades since The Beatles split, including FourFiveSeconds with Kanye West and Rihanna earlier this year.

Karl Lagerfeld

A favourite from the fashion industry, Lagerfield, 82, has made a name for himself in the fashion world as a designer and creative director. The German is currently based in Paris, where he remains the head director of Chanel.

Clint Eastwood

From a young on-screen heartthrob to a majorly successful behind-the-scenes director, Eastwood is still going at the age of 85. His latest film, Sully, is currently in filming and is due out next year.

Sophia Loren

81-year-old Sophia Loren says she doesn’t ever want to stop learning, no matter how old she gets! She began her career in acting at age 14 after entering a beauty pageant in 1949 and hasn’t stopped since.
