So we thought we would reminisce about the classic programmes we watched when we were younger, and as we reminisced we suddenly thought…what are they doing now? Luxe Models always like to know the latest, so we have taken our four favourite programmes from the late 90s- early 2000s to see what the main characters from each are up to now! 200px-Malcolm_in_the_Middle

That’s So Raven: This was one of our favourite shows which featured three friends, one of which (Raven) had psychic powers. As well as being a children’s comedy it also taught viewers important lessons about the implications of racism, as well as the importance of working hard. The show ran from 2003-2007 but we know that wasn’t the last we would see of Raven! Raven, real name Raven-Symoné has had a busy time since leaving fictional Raven behind. She has starred in multiple films, including College Road Trip in 2008 and the voice of Tinkerbell in the chain of fairy tale films. She has also brought out a music album, and starred in popular US TV show, State of Georgia. Most recently she stared in Broadway musical, Sister Act, which she featured in until August 2012. Since then  she seems to have gone back to college to study something art related, or so it says on her Twitter. Good luck to her!

Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Perhaps the only witch we all know and love (apart from Hermione), Sabrina, along with her side kick Salem (the cat), gave viewers countless moments of fun from 1996-2003. Since her teenage witch days Sabrina, or Melissa Joan Hart, carried on in TV, even starring in films. One of the most surprising things she has done since then was starring in Britney Spears’ music video for ‘You Drive Me Crazy’, which here at Luxe Models we thoroughly enjoyed watching. Melissa now stars in hit US sitcom Melissa & Joey, which she has been one of the lead characters in since 2010. We still say bring back Sabrina!

Malcolm in the Middle: This programme graced our TV screens from 2000-2006 and allowed us all to relate to the family, whilst being thankful that none of us had a mum as strict as theirs. Malcolm was the narrator, which allowed us to sympathise with him more by seeing things from his point of view and although the family was very dis-functional they were all brought together with love at the end of each programme….sort of. Since then Malcolm, real name Frankie Muniz, has stayed in TV, even branching out in to film, with him starring in titles such as Extreme Movie, My Sexiest Year and Pizza Man. Frankie has also ventured in to other things, including producing- a man of many talents! One more thing we found when doing our digging was that Frankie has also worked with Melissa (Sabrina) when he featured in one episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch in 1999, what a small world!
